Why do you ask for my city of birth?

We ask this information should your forget your password and need assistance.  

I forgot my password, how do I retrieve it?

Click the login button, go to the "Forgot your password?" tab and complete and submit the information requested.  This is where you will enter your birth city, to help identify you.  (See "Why do you ask from my city of birth?", above).  Once we receive your request, an email will be sent to your email address on file with your password. 

Can I change my password?

Passwords can only be changed by the website administrator.  If you need/want to change your password, please use the contact us form and we will work with you individually to make a change.

IMAGES

The photographer was at two or more events but I only see images for one event.

Additional galleries appear under the Private icon once you log in. To view these galleries, log in, click the Private icon located on the link bar on the right-hand center portion of the screen and select  the gallery you wish to view.

I don't see all the pictures from an event.

Two reasons may cause this problem:  The Gallery has multiple pages or the images your are looking for are in a different gallery.  First, check to see if the gallery has more than one page. Page numbers are located in the upper left-hand corner of the gallery above the thumbnail images.  If there is only 1 page, then click on the Private icon and select another gallery.

WEBSITE FEATURES

I clicked on one of the information pages and now it won't go away? 

When you click on one of the information pages using the top navigation bar, the page opens on top of the home page images.  To close the information page, si simply click Home on the top navigation bar.

What is a light box?/What happened to the lightbox? 

A light box is where you can place images you are considering for purchase. Placing them in the lightbox means you can view the images in one place instead of moving between galleries.  In September 2013, the lightbox was renamed to Favorites.  You should have your own account if you want to use the Favorites feature.  If you are using a team acocunt, anyone can add/remove images from Favorites.  To view your favorites, click on the "Favorites" icon located on the link bar on the right-hand center portion of the screen.

Is there a maximum number of Favorites I can store?

You can have up to 500 favorites stored with you account.

Will my favorites expire?/How do I remove a favorite?

Your favorites do not expire.  You can manually remove any image from your Favorites by clicking on Favorites, selecting the image, and clicking the "x" to remove it from your favorites.

What is a download dock?

A download dock is used to download view only versions of an image from our website.  After purchasing a digital image, you are sent an email that contains a download dock key.  Click the download dock button, enter the key and click Submit to download your purchases.


PURCHASES

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept PayPal, checks or cash.  If you order through the website, you will be directed to PayPal at the time of order where you can pay with PayPal dollars or a credit card.  If you prefer to use cash or check, please contact us using the contact us form to make special purchasing arrangements.

I see the site uses PayPal. Can you see my credit information?

McIntosh Images never sees your credit information. PayPal is a secure site that processes on-line credit payments. When you purchase images, you are directed to an "HTTPS" (secure) site. You must have your own login and password to use PayPal.  If you are using a team's account this option is not available.

How long after I order, will I receive my pictures?

You should receive your order within 2-7 business days.  A confirmation email is sent to you once the order is shipped. During the holiday season we make every effort to ship orders within 5 business days of payment. If special arrangements were made with your team, check the first image in each team's gallery. It will provide ordering and pickup information.
